"To create a Christian environment, setting all differences aside, for the worship of our Lord as a unified body of Christ. To spark revival in our state that will eventually spread to the rest of the country and world. To pray, as a unified voice, for God to revive our towns and nation. For us, as a body, to be filled and overflow with the living water of Christ.

Our Mission Statement

Revival on the River is a chance to come together annually as a unified voice to cry out to God for our towns and nation. We are asking Jesus to revive us completely.

Revival on the River started in the Spring of 2016. Ethan Oltremari, then senior at Pillow Academy, had a vision for a community event that brought people of all races, denominations, and backgrounds together unified to worship God in the Yazoo River Aboretum, centrally located in the city of Greenwood, MS. The first annual Revival on the River was held on April 10, 2016 and had over 600 people in attendance worshiping our Lord as one voice. The second annual event held on April 23, 2017 doubled that and had 1200+ people in attendance. Revival on the River is a steady growing event that exists to unify our towns and nation. Revival on the River applied to become a 501c3 non profit religious organization in early 2017.
